We had a wonderful time at the stable Annexe. Teresa was attentive and warm. The price we paid was great for the experience you get. I would highly recommend going if you want a different type of stay. There were animals roaming around that you could pet, which was wonderful. There was a lovely hot tub that was secluded. A super cooked breakfast in the morning (optional) and only a 3 minute walk to the local pub. It really was special and we will be back again.

The location was lovely. We were made very welcome by the hosts and the room and facilities were of a high standard. Our evening meal in their restaurant was great and prices were very fair. Breakfast was excellent with good bacon and fresh eggs. We would highly recommend.

We hadn't tried a homestay before and were very lucky to find such a superb room and setting in The Dovecote. The hosts were welcoming and helpful. The house is very spacious and beautifully decorated, driveway parking, peaceful setting and open views over the garden and fields behind. The room was exceptional, 5* facilities, linen, cleanliness, chiller, iron, tea & coffee. Everything about The Dovecote is a quality experience and will be our go to place should we return to the area.
