Norbury House is such a beautiful place to stay, the location has the most stunning views of Ilfracombe and is only about a 15-20 minute walk from the harbour. It also has a beautiful coastal walk just behind through a wooded area which is so peaceful. The rooms are lovely and very clean, the beds are so comfy and the location so peaceful, I had the best 3 nights sleep I've had in a very long time. Adam and Paula are just the most amazing people, so kind and welcoming and very helpful. We loved coming down in the morning for breakfast and having a little chat with them both. The breakfasts were lovely, Paula you are a great cook! We will definitely be staying here again and bringing our children next time.

I rated a Porlock BnB as perfect (which it was) but the Devonian was even better. In many ways it was like a luxury boutique hotel. It had a beautiful bar, a little cinema, a reading room, a drawing room, a gym, a massive garden with sauna, Jacuzzi etc.
Breakfast was served on a crisp white table cloth with elegant china and individual servings of all the breakfast options you could possibly want - different cereals, yogurt, delicious fresh fruit, jams, croissant. I opted for salmon and scrambled eggs on a crumpet for the hot dish. It was beautifully cooked and presented.
Terence gave me a short cut to the Coastal Path - so I was back on the Path in about 5 minutes.
I was just awestruck by the amazing management skills of this young couple. The Devonian is a place not to be missed if you are in Ilfracombe.

I highly recommend The Earlsdale Bed and Breakfast! Owners Jim and Lewis’ professionalism, passion, creativity, and attention to detail shined through in everything from the chic design of the B&B, to the vegan and gluten free chocolate that awaited me in my room (custom to my specific dietary restrictions). My room was spacious, luxurious, and comfortable. As an interior designer, I especially appreciated the soothing interior lighting and high end design materials and finishes, all of which came together to blend modern luxury with the unique historical elements of the building.
The included breakfast featured a beautifully laid self service station with homemade and locally sourced delicacies. I very much enjoyed the “Full English” that Jim so kindly prepared for me, which accommodated my strict vegan and gluten free diet. I’m confident that my friends who enjoy meat and dairy would have also been very satisfied with the other unassuming, yet elevated hot breakfast offerings.
Thank you Jim and Lewis for being such attentive and accommodating hosts! I very much look forward to staying at The Earlsdale again in the future!

Food was cooked to request, the eggs were perfectly poached and everything on offer was exceptional, they really care about their guests. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Ilfracombe visiting the area. I wouldn't hesitate to use this location again. Owners were friendly and accommodating.

Well appointed, well decorated and great location. Tom is a great host and made sure we were well looked after. Easy check in instructions too. We loved the virtual art work in the living room! Scones, cream and jam were also a lovely touch.
Nicki was a great host, kept us updated with the room being ready earlier than expected and showed us around. Lovely room and even had a lounge and freestanding bath in our bedroom which was an unexpected treat (room 1) parking nice and close by. Would happily come back again in the future.
Lovely hosts, great room. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and the breakfast was excellent. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay there again.
