The annex was lovely big bedroom and beatiful bathroom comfy beds and spotlessly clean.convenient 5minuet walk to Toby carvery,and two minutes walk to a convenience store.would definitely stay again.

The English breakfast was well cooked and enjoyable.
The hosts went above and beyond what would be expected even down to helping me with a problem with my car.
We encouraged to use the garden space and enjoyed sitting around a fire chatting with Ray the main host. Lots of extras and goodies provided in the spacious room.

Travellers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. This simple accommodation is in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
Friendly staff we were made to feel welcome ,The rooms are upstairs above the pub it was nice to eat and drink with the locals and regulars rooms are clean ,hotel is a reasonable price I would stay there again
A nice place for a self-catering stay. Kitchen very well equipped. Nice big bathroom. Overall very comfortable. Bed linen clean and lovely towels provided. Important: This is a private home and not a holiday apartment in the traditional sense - bearing that in mind, it has absolutely everything you need and more..... Hosts provided a very nice welcoming tray of initial supplies, tea, coffee etc. also provided (although we had, of course, also brought our own). Cleaning/laundry products were also provided - a very thoughtful gesture.
Really beautiful location, gorgeous barn, very peaceful. My dogs and I were made to feel so welcome and at home. Lovely hostess and really kind and generous welcome gift.
