Very close to the railway station, yet situated in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood, this was a wonderful place to stay. Everything was clean, modern and very comfortable. I was able to watch tv in a spacious living room area, and upload all of the photos and videos I’d taken each day because of the excellent WiFi service. I actually extended my stay because I was so happy with my experience here. I highly recommend it, and will be staying here again if I return to this area of England.

The things we liked about the property were:
1. Location. Even though in a regular residential area, there were small, but good restaurants within 5 minutes walking distance, as well as a small Co-op for your daily needs. The area is lively and well kept. There are bus stops around the corner but the service is unreliable.
2. The space. Having a complete house for two people is too much, but very pleasant.
3. The shower in the attic was spacious, with good water pressure.
4. Large TV and sound bar in the living room.
5. Private parking next to the house.

Location; halfway down high street very near eateries, shops and river. Free parking accessed from road at the back. Good breakfast; unlimited tea and coffee, cereal, toast and choice of cooked. Comfy beds in pleasant warm room. Bar is popular with locals. Great place to stay to tour Wye Valley, Forest of Dean, Gwent Coast and Black Mt's.
Very good location - Jennifer is a lovely host - was like visiting an aunt. Felt quite at home - and Gelert was such a friendly dog. Would love to visit again.
lovely host, could not have been more hospitable. Really good breakfast with butchers sausages, plenty of options and to start with a very fancy plate of pineapple
Staff were all really friendly, room was spacious, comfortable and warm, and breakfast was great. Bar has amazing choice and the locals were welcoming. I'd happily stay here again.
