The location is perfect for the Monsal Trail Parkrun (which is lovely) and exploring nearby Bakewell, which is beautiful. There is a good selection of restaurants offering a range of budgets within a short journey or walking distance if you're feeling energetic. The room was perfect for a short stay. The included breakfast at the nearby Hessop Station Cafe was brilliant with a wide choice of food - you simply choose from the breakfast menu without restriction. The food was great!

Beautiful old property externally in a great location. Bed was comfy, great shower. Although it isn’t staffed like a hotel, staff were very helpful on checkout and checkin

The View is in a location with the most beautiful views of the Peak Distirct. The accommodation is extremely comfortable and Lisa and Pete have thought of everything you could possible need and more. We were overwhelmed with the attention to detail. We've never stayed in a place that is as perfect as this in terms of facilities, cleanliness and comfort. I was born in the house many years ago and Pete spent a long time talking to us and showing us how brilliantly they had renovated their home. It was a very special visit for us so thank you Pete and Lisa. I hope we'll be back next time we are visiting from Australia.

Location is great, just on the back street in Castleton (near the chippy!) Space for 4 cars.
We were given clear instructions on how to enter the property with access codes, and our room was great (at the end of the corridor).
There is a kitchenette in the room, which comprises of kettle, toaster, microwave and fridge, with crockery, glasses and cutlery. We were also given some boxes of cereal and some milk in the fridge, very unexpected and a lovely gesture.
The bed was comfy, very peaceful rooms. The room was a little cold at first, but it warmed up over the weekend.
There was a Smart TV in the room, guess you could log in to your Netflix or Amazon accounts if you wanted, although we didn't.
Wifi worked great (thank goodness as there was no phone signal!)
We will stay again (if they'll have us!)

The location of the Tannery Gardens in Bakewell was perfect. So quiet and relaxing. Good parking, lovely hosts and such easy access to the room. The breakfast was perfect, just what we wanted, a short walk to the guest house serving it.
Beautiful location for visiting the Peak District. Close to the Monsal Track, Chatsworth, Haddon Hall and Bakewell. Pretty, quiet little village with friendly locals and some good pubs nearby (Packhorse Inn is definitely worth the walk). Property was well equipped and comfortable - it felt like home! We had a small issue with the heating when we arrived, but Sykes (hosts) were very responsive, and we managed to solve the problem (it was simply a loose battery on the controller!).
Fantastic location and close to lots of lovely pubs and walks. The hut had everything you needed. Very dog friendly. Great hosts and Prosecco, chocolates and flowers on arrival. I would definitely recommend and would stay again.
Warm welcome from our lovely host. Great location for exploring Derbyshire Dales. Cosy, warm and comfortable. Great attention to detail on cleanliness and comfort
