Super lovely staff, very much a self-service type of place. Great common room to meet people. Room itself is basic but the AC works well, bathrooms are clean and never had to queue, and the in-house laundry was a great touch.
I think the bad reviews are extremely unjust and done by people who had expectations of a hotel as opposed to a friendly guesthouse.

Great location, one street from the beach itself.The view from the huge terrace is beautiful on the garden outside the building.Vicent was a very good host, he helped us with everything we needed, and provided us with free parking in the garage.What is certain is that we will come to Menton again😀
We love Menton and this property is all about the incredible view and lovely terrace a great place to stay but you have to be fit as the location involves a few flights of steps. A beautiful place with lovely hosts.
Lovely host, really helpful. Finding keys and getting in was really easy despite our super late night train. Very clean and tidy, kitchen was extremely well equipped for self catering. Comfy bed and lovely shower. Lots of storage. Felt very safe and secure. Really close to train station and shops / cafes, and a bus stop directly outside front door!
We had a great stay and would absolutely recommend if you want a comfy, clean, good value base for the Côte d'Azur, and if you'd like to self cater!

The apartment was amazing, right on the sea front with amazing views, Kevin was a great host and met us at an agreed time and helped us with any questions. The bedrooms, bathroom kitchen etc were all nice, clean and tidy. Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to stay in Menton! :)
Incredible location, impeccably clean, very nicely decorated with everything we needed in the kitchen, beach towels, even sunblock. Lucas is a great host. Much easier to find than we expected, just using Google maps. Menton is a beautiful spot!
The location is next to the gran central market where you can find every kind of the most and fresh delicious food from the locals producers. At the ground floor there are plenty of coffe shops and restaurants.The brightness , the cleaning and the sea view . there are two large French windows from which you can admire the sunset. The apartment is new refurbished and better than a four star hotel in terms of amenities. There was nothing more than we could have asked for.
