It was delightful. France and Cyril are exceptional hosts. As I was travelling on a Sunday they offered an evening meal, a delicious chicken and ham croute with salad and home grown tomatoes, a cheese platter and then an ice cream of home grown raspberries! Breakfast was as good, including the home made brioche and plum jam. The room was beautifully decorated and very functional, with a small terrace outside and a second, covered, comfortable seating area. Secure parking on their property. I cannot recommend it too highly (and will definitely be staying again!) Thank you both!

Very quaint B&B, simple but delicious breakfast. Owner's do not speak English, but we were able to communicate. The room was huge and had a small sitting area separate. 15 minutes outside of Epernay, France.
Travelers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. These simple accommodations are in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.

Excellent location, beautiful and comfortable house, lots of local attractions/ amenities to keep a family with teens and children busy for a week. Not too touristy, with friendly locals. Great restaurants and cafés.
Brigitte is a vey good host. Very attentive and clearly keen to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Good French breakfast. Room and whole place was SPOTLESSLY clean. Bed was very comfortable and I slept very well. She even allowed me to put my car in her garage! No complaints. House is located in a residential area; no spectacular views but perfect for a stopover. Town was a 15 minute walk away through or past the WW2 cemetery.
Great host, who bent over backwards to accommodate my changed plans. The flat is well equipped in the kitchen and throughout and the bed was very comfortable. Really handy being able to park outside. Park on top of the flat as well as the town centre so you can't go wrong on location. Perfect flat for a stay here.
This is a very comfortable and quiet homestay with excellent hosts, and is excellent value for money. The room was light and comfortable, the bed excellent, and the adjoining bathroom spotless and everything you need. On-street parking outside the property was easy. The location is also superb - right next to the city parks and canals, and a short walk to the central squares with shops, bakery and restaurants.
It was in a very central location with cafés and restaurants a few minutes away. We had a very good meal at
L Edito. Leopold was a great host. Friendly and very helpful, even taking the time to come to the pay station as we couldn’t make it out ! We didn’t have breakfast. Our room was large with lovely view of the garden. The place was spotless and bed very comfortable.
