The bed needs a proper mattress. It has box springs and a thin pad on top. Two rull-size bed pillows would also be appreciated instead of a small rectangular bed pillow and a wedge-shaped pillow.

There was not a thing that we didn’t like about Oak House! It was a magical little hideaway with what felt like a secret garden, all you might need in the efficient kitchen, so many spots for a cup of coffee or a read, plus a sauna! And an attic room where the kids felt like they had their own secret lair! Our hosts were absolutely delightful. We’d love to come back.
Travelers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. These simple accommodations are in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
A good hostel on an old ferry. The "rooms" are very tiny but had everything I needed - a bed and a bathroom and free wifi. Breakfast was good. Close to the Viking Line ferry.
Location was great since it is in the center of Turku, but it was still easy to get there. Very close to the railway and buss station if needed, but also easy to get parking spot from the street. Parking in the street is not free of charge normally on daytime, but for example from 15:00 from Saturday and whole Sunday is free.
Heidi was great host and we felt very welcome to his apartment. Everything were instructed well and picking up the keys to the destination didn't require any special arrangements or scheduling during the trip.
The hotel was tidy and cozy and the interior matched well with the Funkis architecture of the building. The beds were super comfy. Breakfast was so good that the locals seemed to come to enjoy it too. The location is good for train and bus travelers.
Very good host she answered all the questions right away and was sending very detailed instructions! Apartment was in the very quiet and green area and very nice and clean. Perfect also for children, playgrounds around the area.
Easy distance from the city centre . Quiet and peaceful area. Newly renovated. Washing machine, dishwasher, powerful hairdryer, vacuum cleaner etc all there. Comfortable bed. Stylishly decorated flat.
