The place is ALMOST TOO GREAT for what it costs. Rooms are clean and nice, there is a ceiling fan AND A/C so temperature is perfect at all times. Rooms are very well isolated in terms of humidity, bugs or noise so comfort is assured. The bathroom and shower worked great and were really clean. The staff was nice and always ready to help and give you directions. The location was REALLY close to the city center and beach. The desk was great for studying and working. We felt comfortable and at home.

I was staying overnight, arrived late (around 8-9 pm), left early (around 8 am).
Could not say anything bad.
The staff were very friendly.
I had the simplest room with a bed, fan (no ac) and a bathroom.
The bed was comfortable, the fan was working fine, didn't notice any mosquitoes.
Probably could be cheaper, but I think it was one of the most affordable options on booking for this date, so it probably could be not :)
I slept very well and felt very comfortable during my stay.

The. Best. Service. Ever! I've been to resorts and nothing can compare to the warmth of the host. Breakfast was unexpectedly included and the place was as safe as a vault. The host was incredibly kind and went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable.

Travelers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. These simple accommodations are in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
Plenty of space, good size kitchen with a good selection of utensils and equipment. House stays quite cool, all rooms equipped with fans, main bedroom with AC. The main bedroom is equipped with a giant double bed.

After having stayed a week before at Riu Macao in Punta Cana Whala!Bayahibe was something of a let down.
I am comparing the prices and at over $1,800 for a week stay I must say it was a disappointment. No problem
with the room, beds, pools etc. but the hotel is well overpricede and I doublt if the locals who were also staying
at the hotel paid $1,800 which is a month´s salary in the Dominican Republic. Personnel were very friendly.
Great new spacious apartments with a lovely pool. The beach is only 10 minutes walking distance and there are nice restaurants in the area. Adrian was a great host!
Great vibes, friendly and helpful personnel, got upgraded for a better room free of charge - made us feel right at home! Close by are beautiful beaches, lots of locals, bars, restaurants and activities. What an amazing stay.
The hosts were kind and always smiling, the check-in including the payment went really smooth. The room was quite old, but it was clean, the bed was comfy and there were all facilities we needed. And it was really amazing to stay in the accommodation that is typical for the Dominican Republic. It is close to the Mya store, a great local comedor and the beach is approx. 15 minutes by walk. Be aware that during the weekend, locals like music and everywhere in the streets is loud music until midnight. For us, this was a great experience. 🙂
The location of the appt is great. Small shops and restaurants around, 12 minutes of walking to the beach. Appt is nice, spacious - two bedrooms, two toilets, two balkoons, clean with everything you need to have a perfect holiday. Milena is a great host, took care of everything. It is a nice place with the pools with salty water, great access for the small children, also very safe. We truly enjoyed our stay here.
