A lovely apartment, in a good area, with a great host.
Jesper has a very nice, clean, spacious flat. It is full of light and very comfortable. It is in a nice suburban area and only a 20min walk from the edge of the City Centre, so all the sights and social hubs are well within a 30 minute stroll (other than the developed Dock area and Lighthouse which are a bit further on).
Jesper himself is the ideal host, in my opinion. He makes you feel very comfortable and at home, but is clearly conscious that you are a customer rather than 'a guest in his home' and will leave you alone completely to have your own holiday - which is exactly what l look for.
On my visit, l stayed out until after 2300hrs and felt l should message him to explain. His reply was simply "no problem, enjoy the city," which put me at ease, as he was reminding me that l was entitled to come and go freely.
A great host.
Travellers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. This simple accommodation is in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
Great host who helped me move my stuff from the top floor to the bottom floor as I found it difficult to upstairs and downstairs due to my physical disability. Nice and warm rooms so don’t have to worry about being cold and well decorated and plenty of cutlery nice size fridge if you like cooking.
This is a really good hostel. There are a lot of facilities, it's clean, the staff is really friendly and it's only a 15 min walk from the Flixbus stop! And still, it's affordable and therefore great for solo travellers like me.
Cute little house in the backyard of the main building. Fitted well a family of four. Catarina and Zak are very lovely hosts. We took our bikes to conveniently cycle to Aarhus.
Loved the location however it was deserted. The breakfast was excellent. The staff nice and friendly. Buses were good. 10 mins away from city centre. Very quiet and peaceful area. The locals were wonderful would definitely come back here if I came back to Aurhus.
Kavehs place is great! Huge, very nice located and has everything one needs to stay for a week. And the beds are really comfortable.
He is a great host and always there for us when we needed something!
The house is clean and spacious. Tine was a great host and even allowed us early check in and late check out. The dinning room and living room was so comfortable you won't want to go out.
