This Pension is well located in the small town of Boppard, just a short walk from the Rhein, town centre and Restaurants. The main train station and a small supermarket are also close by. We arrived late for the start of our six days there but you still access your keys via a key safe at the main door (by prior arrangement). All the staff were very friendly, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast is continental, exactly what you would expect with a good selection. Our room was basic but functional, with a large fridge, microwave, kettle, coffee machine and toaster all on hand if required. In summary, we enjoyed our stay in Mittelrhein Pension and would recommend it to anyone.
Offering free Wi-Fi, this guest house is quietly located less than a minutes’ walk from the River Rhine. It provides easy access to Boppard Süd Train Station, a 10-minute walk away.

The location at the end of the road added to the adventure. Upon arrival I was immediately welcomed by Kim who also showed me where I could park my motorcycle in their garage for the night. My room was spacious an quite comfortable. Patrick in his role as bartender, one of many, found me a good beer before a fine dinner in the in-house restaurant. After a good breakfast I was on my way to new adventures.
Travelers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. These simple accommodations are in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
What a wonderful place to stay. Lovely apartment in a great location with stunning views overlooking the Rhine. Easy access to train station, ferries and river boats. Raphael is a great host willing to answer questions and be helpful. His Pizzeria below is a classy place serving great food yet isn't intrusive and once in the aparment you wouldn't know it is there. Accommodation is very spacious and clean with everything you would require for a stay. Can't think of any negatives and so can highly recommend.
The "hostel" is actually several rooms in a private home. The host was very nice, friendly and helpful. We were allowed to park our bikes safely in the garage overnight. The location is good, only 5km from the very busy tourist center of Boppard.
The Wellers are great hosts. They gave me a lot of information about the town and environs and assisted with my every need. The home is old, with creaking wooden floors, but this didn't bother me once (for example, no disturbance from other guests). The breakfast is scrumptious and more than enough to prepare you for an active day around Boppard, it also changes every day. The shared bathroom wasn't an issue, since it was always available when I wanted to use it and sparkling clean. Own sink a plus. Highly recommended!
Absolutely fantastic apartment, everything was lovely and new, great host and a perfect location next to the river, we had suite 2 which came with a spacious balcony which had a wonderful view. We did not want to leave!
