Very cute studio with a cool outdoor patio that’s also a little kitchen. The family that runs it is so kind and their cat and dog too! Felt like a charming home stay. Bonus fruit platter on arrival and home cooked breakfast in the morning was the cheery on top! Also it’s extremely close to the airport and was half a mile from our rental car return. Secure parking, WiFi and everything. Thanks!

The home was clean and comfortable. I did not realize there was no air conditioning but I felt safe opening my window and there was a quiet fan in the room. The room was quiet, even with the window open, I had a great sleep. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bedding lovely. My host picked me up at a late hour from the airport, which was very much appreciated! I enjoyed my stay!

Every aspect of my stay at Casa del Café exceeded my highest expectations. The 2-way airport transfer is a big convenience! Communication with host was easy and always got quick responses. Room was very clean and well equipped with fridge, coffee maker, modern toilet & strong shower,. There is a family run restaurant that serves local food just directly infront of this homestay. A good place to stay near the SJO airport.

The property itself is like a home away from home, we planned on doing a day in San José but instead stayed the day in the house and the town as it felt like a home for us. Great kitchen to cook, cosy bedroom in a quaint town by the airport. Great stay!
