We stayed as patr of transit on SJ airpirt. Rosy, the owner, is very nice and welcoming and cooked nice breakfast for us and talked with us while eating, which was a nice welcome to the country. There are nice restaurants and other infrastructure nearby to go out for a dinner.

The room was super clean as well as shared bathroom. Landlady was really kind, positive and helpful. I even got free Spanish quick lesson haha. Perfect location close to the airport (8 minutes of ride from the airport), it was just a quite difficult for us to find the correct house.

The property itself is like a home away from home, we planned on doing a day in San José but instead stayed the day in the house and the town as it felt like a home for us. Great kitchen to cook, cosy bedroom in a quaint town by the airport. Great stay!
It is the best home stay near the airport with valet service to catch your flight. I would recommend this place to everybody that needs to be quiet and secure. I will go back there every time I need to catch a plane from San Jose! I highly recommend this place it is very homey! ✌️😉🦋🛫
