The place is beautiful and surrounded by nature. I stayed in the studio separate from the house, and it was really private and clean. Patrick was a great host. About a 15 min drive from El coco and a 20 min hike to playa Ocotal, and the place is accessible with any vehicle. Highly recommended.

Absolutely wonderful stay - without a doubt one of the best lodging experiences we have ever had. The place is very nice - super clean, great amenities (pool, fully stocked outdoor kitchen, comfy beds, secure parking, etc.). The place is an easy walk to the beach, a number of good restaurants, and a great brewery.
The hosts were absolutely fantastic people that made the stay truly amazing. I won't list all the nice things they did, as I don't want to set expectations too high! I guarantee they will make you feel like family and do everything they can to make your stay exceptional.
Highly, highly recommend if you are visiting anywhere near Potrero!

It was secure with a huge locked gate and barbed wire, which made me think I was perhaps not in a good part of town. When I left in the morning I had the feeling that is what it must feel like to be released from prison.
Travelers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. These simple accommodations are in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
Everything was amazing, flavio is such a good host which really makes you feel home.
