The host Allan is incredibly friendly! The place itself is very pretty, and the bathroom is awesome and clean. My husband and I really enjoyed meeting Allan and his family. The breakfast and dinner we had were DELICIOUS, absolutely try them if you stay in this location.

It had everything we needed, and we would stay again. The host was very friendly and helpful. The bed and bedding was comfortable. The shower pressure was good and had plenty of hot water. It was spotlessly clean. The view was spectacular, and it was so nice to have the outdoor seating area. The wi-fi worked well. The host provided delicious Costa Rican coffee and bananas in our room. We didn't cook, but it was convenient to have kitchen supplies.

Moon Wonders was built by a master craftsman. The detail to the theme of the Moon and Outer Space is astounding. The furniture is hand-crafted and is beautiful. The house is part of the family estate. It is located close to town while also feeling secluded and safe. We have stayed in five very nice places so far on our three-week visit to Costa Rica, and this has been our favorite place so far.

We absolutely loved our stay in this beautiful hand-crafted guest house. There’s an airy kitchen with all the basics + more and a lovely dining and common area. Truly a gem. So much more than vocational rentals for this price offer in other places. Though, the room itself was small, the common area and the artistic feeling of the house compensated more than enough. We will definitely return in case we visit Monteverde area again. We also enjoyed the fact we were greeted by the hosts and not just given a lock box number. These days it’s becoming increasingly rare to meet the lovely hosts, who truly master hospitality. Thank you. I wish I could give more than 10 stars. Oh!! And we loved the Christmas Tree. :)

Sofia and her mom Maria are helpful and kind. The apt is simply furnished and clean. The location is very close to center of town. We came as a family of five with my husband and I and our three teenage kids and rented two rooms. Fortunately no one rented the third room so we did not have to share the bathroom with anyone else and had the apt, bathroom and common area to ourselves which was very nice.

Lovely host gave great advice on the area and was at our beck and call (even got us breakfast to go for our early bus), fresh breakfast with a beautiful jungle view, beautiful spacious room with all we needed to cook ourselves if we wished, short 3 minute walk to main town area.
Great hostel. The room was comfortable and clean, the kitchen had everything necessary to cook properly, easy to park as well. Bonus: the sloth and tucan in the nearby garden
David was really friendly and helpful in giving suggestions. We especially loved the outdoor space of this place, with the hammocks, chairs, and tables that made it so relaxing to just hang around and be in nature. The pets were so cute and friendly, and made this place feel like a homestay! I extended my stay because I liked it so much. I would stay here again in a heartbeat if I were to visit Monteverde again.
This is a true home stay as the hosts property is small and you will share the common spaces with the family. The hosts were great but the small space may feel a bit claustrophobic to the privacy conscious.
Great location close to two reserves and places to have breakfast. Very spacious with a great washer drier. Dawn chorus was fantastic. Lovely host who couldn't have been more helpful.
