Most remarkable was the manager, who sat down with us for almost an hour over tea to explain in detail the different paths we could walk, what to see and where to eat. Exceptionally great support from the owner who provided me with detailed information on arrival. After I got out of the taxi, he was waiting for me at the Nanhua gate with an umbrella and helped me carry my luggage to a nearby accommodation. Friendly atmosphere of family accommodation, but with hotel comforts. The owner arranged a ticket for a boat ride, recommended where to go for good and cheap food, where the locals go. Great views, close to the center, but in a quiet area. I highly recommend it.

Wang's kind hospitality. She went out of her way to be helpful in every way possible. The homestay is situated at a point on a hill that overlooks the town of Fenghuang, so, aside from the amazing views, the air is clean and fresh.
The homestay is located in Fenhuanggucheng, near the Nanhuali sightseeing bus terminal. The host of the homestay will meet you at the bus terminal to bring you to the homestay (10 mins walk). She will brief you on the route and places to see, timing with a big map.
This is a nice accommodation that suited our needs perfectly. A quant little boutique homestay with nice tatami beds and great views of the ancient city both during the day and a magnificent views at night. The operator was very helpful and gave us very good tips on touring the city.
