Marco, the host was one of the most friendly and personable people we ever met. He was like our grandpa welcoming us to visit. He is an excellent cook, and we had just about the best trout dinner of my life. He caught the trout himself. The place was spotlessly clean and had a wonderful charm about it.
Compared to the much more expensive resort on the other side of the river, this is the best deal you will find in Petrohue, and one of the best deals we have ever had anywhere.
We have very special memories of the evening that we will never forget, hanging out with marco and eating dinner and chatting, with his very friendly dog playing with his very friendly cat and a big peacock sitting outside.
This is a special treat, go if you can.

Rodolfo is a great host. The place is beautiful, with a fantastic view. The house was super clean, and well equipped. Fyi, for the hot tub, it needs 6+ hours to heat up, and carries additional charges, so inquire about it before going.
Everything was great. The place was amazing and well located. Paola and Sergio were great hosts.
We did a family trip so we rented 2 cabins, a big one for 5 people and a small one for 2. Both were well equipped, clean, and beautifully designed.
The place is a great spot to escape from busy, noisy cities with amazing places to visit nearby, just ask Paola and she will provide great guidance.
Bonus: you get a wonderful view of the volcano from the garden.
