We arrived a little late, but that wasn’t a problem. The hosts were very friendly and attentive. The bathroom was clean and the room and bed were comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with coffee from Ecuador, toasted by the hostess. Dinner was with other guests and friends of the owners. Very cosy.

We booked the place for a one night stopover. Spotlessly clean upon arrival, spacious rooms, and good beds. You have a fully equipped kitchen and large living room at your disposal, ample parking space. Breakfast is served in the restaurant, excellent coffee and a variety of jams, honey etc. including Swiss cheese is served. Excellent communication with Rémy, the owner. Would come again.

We loved the whole place. The superb location, the superb rooms, very friendly hospitality. We stayed for 5 nights and had 2 bedrooms and a living room for 2 adults and a child. All rooms for very nicely lit with natural light, high ceilings. Nice breakfast was offered, for dinner we bought foodstuff at local supermarkets and had it in our room or on the terrace overlooking the vineyards and Lake Geneva. Wonderful experience. The property also was selling great wine which went nicely with the food. Dishes and microwave were provided for in the room. The village of St.Saphorin is only 10 minutes away on foot walking down having breathtaking views over the region. In the village you have nice restaurants to visit.

Travellers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. This simple accommodation is in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
Convenient location very close to station; quiet on side away from station; several cafes and restaurants witin a minute or two's walk, as well as station ones (essential as hotel breakfast room currently closed) - would recommend "Sleepy Bear" cofffee shop (though limited seating and busy at breakfast time) and Cafe Restaurant de l'Europe (reasonable prices for fixed menus - obviously popular with locals) . Was also given free bus/metro pass for 2-day duration of my stay
