Great lady but the description is inaccurate. It is a house with two rooms, one bathroom, one kitchen, and she is renting out the rooms separately, so you will be sharing the kitchen and bathroom with another guest. And there is free wifi which she forgot to mention on booking.com. She doesn't speak English.

We had a special meeting at the "Plantentuin Meise", which is a famous location in itself, for a guided tour through the normally closed facilities. It was wonderful to have a lodge at walking distance to the site, so we were there in time and without the urge to travel hence and forth.

This location is a hidden gem and wonderful place to stay. I would describe the location as one in the heart of Mechelen, you have a short walking distance to beautiful places.
Our suite was very clean, very comfortable and cozy. We had a wonderful terrace.

This B&B is something else: a unique house filled with a Pandora's box of design. We rented the suite, which has a living room, a garden terrace and a sitting room with wood burner - in addition to the double bedroom. Quiet, comfortable and clean, and a lovely host to welcome you and make you a yummy breakfast. The cathedral and city centre are a few minutes walk, and a car park is located under the cathedral.

Beautiful and wonderfully eclectic. Music systems in every room - I was in heaven having a long bath in the gorgeous tub while listening to the Nick Cave playlist. Gorgeous pieces of furniture (I kept moving around so I could try out the different chairs and views). Great host, scrumptious breakfast.
