Set 11 km from Shipyards of Viana do Castelo, Abraços dos Avós - Casas de aldeia offers an infinity pool, a garden and air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony and free WiFi. The apartment was absolutely fantastic! The rooms were very modern and functional, incredibly clean, spacious, and tastefully decorated. The kitchen was wonderfully equipped with all the necessary for meal preparation. The best part was the direct access to the pool right outside the room, and the added bonus of a grill area for family gatherings. The location was serene and peaceful, nestled in a charming small village with breathtaking mountain views. The owners were incredibly kind and helpful, and to our delight, they surprised us with two delicious cakes as a gift! We had the most wonderful vacation here and wholeheartedly recommend this place to everyone. We hope to return someday!

Situated in Tarouca, 13 km from Our Lady of Remedies Sanctuary and 22 km from Douro Museum, Quinta do Lameiro offers a garden and air conditioning. This was my second time at Quinta do Lameiro, so I already knew what to expect. However, the last time there was no pool in the Bungalows area. Now that there is, it's an advantage. Two pools with different depths. Terrific addition!

Pousadela Village provides a sauna and a hot tub, as well as air-conditioned accommodation in Vieira do Minho, 6.8 km from Canicada Lake. With lake views, this accommodation features a patio. My partner and I stayed at Pousadela Village for 2 nights as a base for exploring the national park and had an incredible time. The setting is breathtaking -- I couldn't stop taking pictures of the view. We loved our cottage too. It had modern amenities and tons of kitchen supplies but was also very comfortable and spacious. We briefly used the sauna on the property which was a nice perk. We didn't use either of the pools but they looked very nice. The best part though of our experience was the service by the staff. When I made the reservation I mentioned that my partner and I were vegan. Since Pousadela Village is in a somewhat remote area, I was hoping there would be something we could eat on site for breakfast and dinner. The staff assured us that we could be taken care of and they went above and beyond for us. They made specialty vegan meals for us for dinner as well as breakfast. These weren't simple or boring dishes either; they were extremely creative, flavorful, and thoughtful. Alvin in particular took great care of us at dinner on our first night there. However, all the staff we interacted with were wonderful! Not having to worry about food during our stay made everything so easy and we really appreciated their effort. This was a really magical stay and I hope we're lucky enough to be able to return here in the future. They're doing some renovations and adding some new stone lodging options in the hillside so I'm sure it will be even more amazing soon!

Boasting two outdoor pools and an indoor swimming pool, Quinta dos Carqueijais Gerês offers accommodation set in Valdosende, 12 km from Geres. absolutely beautiful location. the villa was lovely. very quiet in the middle of winter and peaceful. the staff was very friendly, helpful, and accessible. the road down to the place is indeed narrow, if you are renting a car, consider getting a small model.

Quinta do Pedregal Hotel & Spa is located in Vila Nova de Gaia, located 20 km from the centre and within a 25-minute drive of the Porto centre. great amenities, staff and property. the spa makes the place a great choice even for bad days/winter time. would totally recommend

This hotel is set upon the highest point of the Viana do Castelo, overlooking the ocean, nearby river, and historic city centre, whilst offering top-class accommodation. i loved the location, surrounded by nature trails. The view to the city and ocean. Very quite and clean- it had everything we needed to be confortable. I will definetely recommend it to family and friends. Thank you for a very memorable stay.

Located 3.8 km from Shipyards of Viana do Castelo and 25 km from Golfe de Ponte de Lima, Casa do Sorrio in Viana do Castelo provides air-conditioned accommodation with views of the sea and free WiFi. Spotless clean. Pool, if you want to use it, we didn't. Really friendly and helpful owner. The yard is amazing.
