Inside it is spotless, comfortable and stocked with all one needs. My hosts were attentive to my presence which added to the experience.

The place is calm, no noise and has a beatiful view. The room is exactly as the description with all facilities. And the staff is always prepared to answer any question. I´d recommend for those want a peaceful place to stay

Located in the centre of the village of Juizo, Casas do Juizo - Country Houses is a rural tourism complex of 8 rustic houses. I think this is the perfect place to stay and travel around the central part of Portugal, visiting small towns and castles. I am talking about Penedono, Meda, Trancoso, Pinchel, Almeida and many other places of interest. This place, Casas do Juizo, is very clean and well maintained. The room is modern in within "medieval" walls and has everything you need for living and cooking. The host, Monica, is very nice and friendly, she speaks very good English and we had no problems communicating. Was offered a very tasty welcome drink and some Easter bread and cheese during our stay, this was Easter time. The village itself is a very calm and quiet place to relax. I would like to recommend Casas do Juizo for all local travelers and foreigners traveling in Portugal.

Located in Castelo de Paiva, 45 km from Santa Maria da Feira Castle and 48 km from D. Luis I Bridge, Estúdio de Amor offers an outdoor swimming pool and air conditioning. Location was great, if you have a car. A few short miles from the Douro river and less than an hour from Porto. Host was superb. Very friendly and helpful. Made a fire for us.

Set within 32 km of Douro Museum and 32 km of Our Lady of Remedies Sanctuary, Vald'arêgos - Douro features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Resende. Beautifully designed holiday flats, absolutely spotless and with the best view ever. The owners were really friendly and helped us a lot with tips for trips around the area. It has definitely been the highlight of our Portugal roadtrip and we would love to come back.
