Located in Marialva, Chalês - Maria Alva provides accommodation with private pool, free WiFi and free private parking for guests who drive. The owners were very friendly and welcomed us with some treats. The houses are well located and have excellent insulation, almost no need for air conditioning. They are very well equipped and the hygiene was excellent.

At the holiday park, some units are allergy-free and soundproof. The place is calm, no noise and has a beatiful view. The room is exactly as the description with all facilities. And the staff is always prepared to answer any question. I´d recommend for those want a peaceful place to stay

Located in the centre of the village of Juizo, Casas do Juizo - Country Houses is a rural tourism complex of 8 rustic houses. Set in a closed condominium, it offers private parking and no pets are allowed. Internet access is available free of charge. I think this is the perfect place to stay and travel around the central part of Portugal, visiting small towns and castles. I am talking about Penedono, Meda, Trancoso, Pinchel, Almeida and many other places of interest. This place, Casas do Juizo, is very clean and well maintained. The room is modern in within "medieval" walls and has everything you need for living and cooking. The host, Monica, is very nice and friendly, she speaks very good English and we had no problems communicating. Was offered a very tasty welcome drink and some Easter bread and cheese during our stay, this was Easter time. The village itself is a very calm and quiet place to relax. I would like to recommend Casas do Juizo for all local travelers and foreigners traveling in Portugal.

Guests can enjoy a meal on an outdoor dining area while overlooking the pool views. Location was great, if you have a car. A few short miles from the Douro river and less than an hour from Porto. Host was superb. Very friendly and helpful. Made a fire for us.
