Where the Jungle Meets the Reef,” CocoVivo is a magical eco-retreat on the southern tip of Isla Cristobal. Six private glamping cabins sit over the water, just meters from a vibrant coral reef for easy snorkeling, kayaking, standup paddle boarding, and exploring our private shipwreck. Being away from the grotty and busy Bocas town was incredible. Staying at cocovivo was like staying in your own oasis with everything you needed. Perfect for relaxing and exploring in rain or sun! It was amazing. Having the reef right below you meant snorkelling was available at any time which was endless fun!! Something different to see each day. The staff were amazing, massive thanks to Melissa for her hospitality and great chats, Luciano for the amazing meals, and Luis for helping us find the monkeys!
Amazing bed and breakfast! Build right on the water! Absolutely beautiful rooms, very romantic! The owners cook dinners ( extra pay but well worth it!), the quality of all the food was outstanding ( better than in majority of the restaurants on the mainland:)) Nice swimming pool. Tours to another islands. We highly recommend this place!
The beautiful garden is very serene and calm, very beautiful and large bungalow.
The location was excellent just over the water from the main town.1 minute boat ride. The views from the overwater bungalow, across to the other islands was stunning.
The lodge is super beautiful, the remote location and the Bungalow are amazing. The food is super delicious. The local staff is very friendly.
Very nice accomodation with great hosts, good cocktails, great pool, big garden and great food. The host built the whole thing by themselves, which is very impressing. We stayed at the big bungalow and it was simply perfect. If you want to relax and calm down this is the place to be. Food is not cheap but very good! I can totally recommend this place and would love to stay there again pretty soon!
Beautiful place to stay. The nature is unique. Bungalows are clean, spacious with all you need. Comfortable bed and amazing view. Nice house reef. Tasty food.
Bambuda is an absolute gem!! The views, the garden, the awesome staff, dog Rocky, the food, the water slide, the jungle bungalow, the printed books with tours and the story of the origin of Bambuda, the sloth…. Everything was so amazing!!!! Best place I’ve stayed at in Panama. I’m in love….
The bungalow on stilts was simple but beautiful, with a very pleasant terrace to enjoy the view and the sun.
Amazing bungalows, gorgeous garden, nicest staff, delicious breakfast! Best hotel in 14 days of Panama. Overall vibe is incredible. The meeting room looks absolutely perfect (2 screens, beamer, whiteboard), must be so nice to come here as a company for team buildings and meetings. Cutest frogs in the garden and monkeys in the morning.
