Situated on 3.1 hectare, of land, the picturesque Bay of Islands Holiday Park is set in Haruru in the Northland Region. We loved everything! The facilities, our cabins, staff, the people & OF COURSE THE VIEWS!!

Waitangi Holiday Park provides an ideal base to explore Northland and the Bay of Islands. Situated on the banks of the Waitange River, it is close to Te Tii Bay and local beaches. Cabin was spacious and well-equipped with a lovely location right near the water. So nice to sit with a cup of coffee in the morning and just relax. Shared facilities were great!—Kitchen has plenty of cooktops and sinks. Bathrooms were super clean and showers were nice and hot. Staff were very accommodating with storing bags before check-in and allowing a slightly later checkout. So friendly and helpful!

Situated across the road from Orongo Bay, Russell-Orongo Bay Holiday Park offers accommodation with 3 BBQ areas. Guests enjoy a swimming pool and a TV lounge with a open fireplace. Very friendly couple running this park, even though it was the off-season, rhey did everything possible to point us in the direction of activities to do and things to see. Absolutely beautiful location..
