Paihia
Waitangi Holiday Park provides an ideal base to explore Northland and the Bay of Islands. Situated on the banks of the Waitange River, it is close to Te Tii Bay and local beaches.
This holiday park is within walking distance to the Paihia village and a short ferry trip to Russell. There is a large supermarket 5 minutes' walk away. Within 10 minutes' walk is the Historic Waitangi Treaty Grounds where you can discover how New Zealand began in 1840.
Cabin was spacious and well-equipped with a lovely location right near the water. So nice to sit with a cup of coffee in the morning and just relax. Shared facilities were great!—Kitchen has plenty of cooktops and sinks. Bathrooms were super clean and showers were nice and hot. Staff were very accommodating with storing bags before check-in and allowing a slightly later checkout. So friendly and helpful!
Paihia
Bay of Islands Holiday Park offers units and cabins, some fitted with a kitchen. Tent and power sites for campervans and caravans are also provided. On site parking is available for boats and trailers. Pets can be accommodated in camp sites and basic cabins only No pets allowed in tourist, studio units. We loved everything! The facilities, our cabins, staff, the people & OF COURSE THE VIEWS!!
Russell
Situated across the road from Orongo Bay, Russell-Orongo Bay Holiday Park offers accommodation with 3 BBQ areas. Guests enjoy a swimming pool and a TV lounge with a open fireplace.
Set on 14 acres, this holiday park is surrounded by a protective area for native New Zealand wildlife such as kiwi and weka birds. It is 5 minutes’ drive from the Russell ferry terminal and within 5 minutes' drive of Oneroa Bay. Paihia is 35 minutes’ drive away.
Very friendly couple running this park, even though it was the off-season, rhey did everything possible to point us in the direction of activities to do and things to see. Absolutely beautiful location..

The outlook of citrus trees, the pigs. General quietness of the area, eventhough main road was close by. The swimming pool would have been awesome in the summer months.

We stayed at Courtyard unit which has a private bathroom and fully equipped kitchen. It is roomy and has a lot of storage space. It was comfortable for a family of four. Good location and you can access to the river from the Holiday Park. Thank you for the nice stay.
This is great stay specially with kids. It's got a games room and two swimming pools overlooking the front beach. The Restaurants, shops and peer is with in walking distance. A big up for housekeeping and the beds are a bliss to sleep on. I love the fact that our room has a communal basin (kitchen and bathroom Basin) outside the bathroom and that the toilette is separate from our bathroom which incl a shower and a bath. Reception and night staff is always available and very helpful will surely visit again when exploring the Bay of Islands.
Great Location and the host were super friendly. Very clean and felt fresh. Clean swimming pool and the heated SPA.
The swimming pool was good and the bed was comfy. The bath tub I loved and shower and it was a large bathroom.
We stayed 6 nights and it was a really good choice. The accommodation is a perfect starting point for day trips to Cape Reinga, the Bay of Islands and Waipoua Kauri forest. There are also some tracks to 5 waterfalls within walking distance. The Rainbow falls walk ist perfect for running. Our host Tania was lovely and gave us a lot of tips. The bungalow has a lot of space. I loved the terrace which was surrounded by lots of wonderful plants. We really enjoyed our stay.
