Tuktuk Siadong

The view was exceptionally stunning. Price is affordable and the room spacious, clean. Very helpful staff.

Bukit Lawang
Set in Bukit Lawang, Bukit Lawang Hill Resort offers accommodation with a terrace. Complimentary WiFi is available. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant or explore the surrounding area to get in touch with nature. Free private parking is available on site. Amazing view from the accommodation. You need to walk a up hill for a little bit where you’re in town, but the staff picks you up from the busstation where you arrive. But the view is worth the walk. Their staff is super friendly and helpful. If you want anything to eat or drink they either bring you down the village, or can get the groceries for you. They are very flexible. They have hammocks on both levels. They started a wildlife rescue project and have saved many animals with their Sumeco project. It was nice to book the jungle tour with them, cause you know how they support the animals and the jungle. The rooms are simple but have everything you need. Large beds with mosquito nets, ventilator, towel etc.

Located 7 minutes’ walk to art markets, Lekjon Cottage enjoys a stunning view of Lake Toba. Free Wi-Fi is accessible at the hotel’s restaurant and hotel lobby.
Rooms at Lekjon Cottage overlooking the lake are simply furnished and are fitted with a wardrobe, desk and sofa seating area. The private bathroom has shower facilities.
Basic rooms, but clean and well-maintained. Staff is genuinely attentive and helpful. Breakfast is tasty, and there are many good restaurants around.

Jhonny and his crew and family were amazing. From the first moment you feel part of the jungle family. And the location was perfect, royal bungalows at the edge of bukit lawan, sandwiched between the jungle and the river. It’s so perfect even a mama orang utan came to check it out. There’s monkeys on the roofs in the afternoon, its amazing! Look nu further!!
We did spend two nights at Sam‘s Bungalows and it was just amazing. Very friendly stuff, very new and luxurious rooms with hot water and a restaurant which is serving delicious breakfast and dinner. Also we recommend as a highlight the one day jungle tracking tour - have seen 15! Orang Utans and many further animals.

The owner was really helpful with everything and communication was easy (his english is really good). The last day, he organised us a taxi within a few minutes, for a fair price, what we appreciated. The Guesthouse is really small: only three bungalows. Even if Bukit Lawang is really touristy, we didn‘t feel like that.
The spacious clean room & swimming pool
We did the jungle trek through the property and had an amazing time with our two lovely guides. The staff were always super accommodating and friendly, offering great advice and tours. The bungalows were clean and had everything you need for your stay. There was so many cute monkeys in the trees at the property too! We loved everything about our stay here😃
Friendly staff, helpful and excellent service. Near the big shoping mall. The hotel room was clean, nice and spacious. Breakfast offered with a wide variety of food. And the facilities gym, swimming pool, jacuzzi, spa, sauna, Steem room.
I stayed here for a night before catching my flight early in the morning. The room was clean, spacious and really confortable. The bed was amazing. The hotel has a shuttle service and it worked pretty well and was really quick to the airport. There is also a gym and a swimming pool which i did not used. I reccomend to stay here if you are looking for a nice place near Medan airport
It was all perfect. Because the bugalows are located directly at the river the view is amazing. Also the bungalow itself was of a good size and decorated nicely. Also the staff and the owner of the bungalows are really friendly and helped with the organisation of the jungle trek and the village tour. All in all it was a perfect stay. I highly recommend to stay here during your time in Bukit Lawang.
Quiet and peaceful. We choosed Bungalow with terrace - so we were on our own with some privacy. Maya the owner was super friendly and helpful. One of our best stays in Sumatra
