Located just 200 metres from a sandy beach, Nallikari Holiday Village Villas offers modern, self-catering holiday houses with a fully equipped kitchen and dining area. WiFi and parking are free. Amazing, special accomodation just outside of Oulu central area. Very calm, near the sea, with a silence I never “heard” before. Loved it

Just 10 minutes’ drive from the northern city of Oulu, this cottage site is only 350 metres from Nallikari beach. Cross-country ski trails are easily accessible from the site. For reasons unexplained we got an upgrade on our cabin. Glorious! Sadly, we only stayed one night as our itinerary was set for Rovaniemi. This is the type of place where you want to remain for a full week or two. The facilities are top notch. The staff are wildly helpful. And they have a communal sauna. We will be back to take better advantage of this wonderful site.

Emolahti Camping is located in Pyhäsalmi. It offers a restaurant and a private beach by Lake Pyhäjärvi. Most units include a well-equipped kitchen and a private sauna. Cosy chalet near the lake. Great staff!

Situated right by the Gulf of Bothnia, Camping Merihelmi offers a bungalow with private sauna, terrace with sea views and a fully equipped kitchen. The E8 Highway is 200 metres away. The place is right on the beach. You have a private area on the beach where you can do barbecue and you can actually play games and have a nice little swim. The facilities are excellent and you have a very helpful staff.
