Lovely small A frame apartment with basic cooking facilities enough to cook a simple meal. Peaceful and quiet. Had a swimming pool- which we didn’t use. Coffee sachets, small milk and shower gel/shampoo provided.

This property felt like summer camp for grownups. We loved our clean and cozy chalet and appreciated the shared full kitchen facilities and the swimming pool. The location is stunning, with lovely views in all directions and great for star gazing. It was also convenient to local attractions like the blue pool and various walking trails.

In the middle of green nowhere lies Makaroka Lodge with cute wooden tiny houses, very comfortable beds and nice view directly into the woods.

The setting is great and the separation of the cabins gives a sense of being on your own but also in a community. The room was plenty spacious and the bed comfortable. Definitely preferred the included bathroom with shower option. Swimming pool was fine when we swam on our own - refreshing after a long day. The staff were friendly and we were pleasantly surprised by the food available.

The property is very cozy, our little bungalow was spacious, clean and very cute, the bed even had a heating blanket. The current rating really doesn’t do it justice. The kitchen is well equipped to be able to cook (it has pots, pans, kettle, cutlery etc) and on top of that it has a nespresso coffee machine and foamer. They put out coffee capsules for us to make coffee and even had milk pods in the fridge.

I stayed here as a child, and to bring my own family back was a treat. The A-frame house we stayed in had been maintained and was very cosy. It had great water pressure, was hot too, and clean and tidy. The host had the heater on for our late arrival, and the kids we very keen to jump into the on-site swimming pool, which was sadly closed at the time of our stay, however, it look clean and inviting regardless.
