Pretty far from the full moon party if that’s why you’re going but steps away is basically a private beach with great restaurants. Absolutely beautiful. And quiet! Loved staying here.

These villas are absolutely incredible. They are very private and ours had a lovely view of the hills and sea. The pool is perfectly sized for a family of 4 and although not heated was a very warm. We stayed in a two bed villa which was brilliantly laid out and gave us our own kids/adult spaces. The air con was amazing too as it was very hot on certain days. One of the best things about this place is the staff. Julianee is such a wonderful host and couldn't do enough for us. She happily ferried us to and from the village every day and organised day trips for us and taxis when we wanted to go further afield. Also - the breakfasts are incredible, especially the coffee which is better than any coffee I have ever had in my life. The small village is a ten minute walk away and is like a movie set. Not only does it all look beautiful but the restaurants are all really nice and cheap. We also ate on the beach at Buri Rasa a few times which was nice but our favourite place was Rasta Baby - a really cool bar with a tree house style restaurant serving delicious food. All in all I think Baan View is the best possible place you could stay in this area and definitely the best value for money. We have stayed at the Anantara here before which (although a better location in the middle of all the action) is nowhere near as nice as Baan View, gives you way less space and is about 4 times the price. ps - don't go to the Elephant ''sanctuary''near to the villa - they were chained up and looked utterly miserable and idiotic tourists were riding on their backs which they clearly didn't enjoy as they were clinging onto the railings desperately trying to not have to walk until the person in charge banged them on the head with a sharp spear. Awful place.

Each room has an own toilette and Balkony. Everything looks very modern and nice. The mirrored doors to the garden are also great, and the View from the roof was stunning.

Ban Tai, Newhouses, 1 bedroom with AC ligger i et roligt område tæt på hovedvejen og tilbyder indkvartering med have og balkon, ca. 1,9 km fra Baan Tai Beach. I was the very first guest to stay in this new little house where everything is brand new. The house is quite basic but has all the necessary comfort and equipment. It is very well located, away from the noise but only 2 minutes by motorbike from all the activities and numerous restaurants. Alex, the owner, was super friendly and helped me book boat tickets, a taxi, and a motorbike. He also gave me great recommendations on places to visit and where to eat on the island. The French neighbor is also very kind, and his dogs are amusing. I will definitely come back for a longer stay at the end of the year.

Origen Bungalows & Yoga Shala ligger i Koh Phangan, 1,8 km fra Hin Kong-stranden, 2,3 km fra Pleayleam-stranden og 3,5 km fra Phaeng-vandfaldet. Der er også egen indgang. I spent my christmas days at Origen and couldn't imagine a better place. This place has a special energy and you can feel the passion and love, Noah invested there. He is always reachable for questions. The Yoga session in the morning of christmas was the perfection of all that. The bungalow is not huge, but has everything you need (even a small kitchen). I really loved the minimal design and an evening in the hammock is the best u can do. Everything is quite new.
