The room is surprisingly spacious, the view is great, everything is very comfortable. The hosts were amazing, thanks to their recommendations we got to see some beautiful places around Ella, like Nil Diya Pokuna. The location is close to some hiking trails like Little Adam's Peak, and has a couple of very nice restaurants. 30 minute walk to the Ella city center, or a 5 minute tuktuk ride.

Everything was incredible - from the beautiful tea cabins themselves to the staff who run the hotel. Incredible value for money, couldn't recommend this place more!

Boasting a garden and views of garden, The Secret Garden is a recently renovated villa situated in Bandarawela, 17 km from Demodara Nine Arch Bridge. The hosts were amazing. We enjoyed so much their stories and amazing cuisine. One of the best curries I ate in Sri Lanka. Their garden is like paradise. Hopefully one day we will come back. Take care 🙏🏻

Very comfortable separate house with a great view and all facilities. It is a perfect place to relax on weekends, enjoy the silence and beautiful nature. The owner is very nice and helpful young lady and she cooked for us tasty breakfasts. We totally felt at home in this place.

From the moment you arrive, it’s as if you step into an alternative reality - one that encompasses your entire spirit, soul, and mind. Run by an extremely sweet and caring older couple (who we now consider family), Crystal Bungalow is interesting, entertaining, and simply peaceful to stay at. Outside you are presented with lush and well cared for gardens (with lots of birds). Inside, everywhere you turn there is a new thing to discover (it’s a big like living in a beautiful and interesting museum). You are living on a small tea plantation in a colonial era home. The room was comfortable, bed very nice, water very hot. But perhaps the most meaningful thing is the connections we made to the owners. They care for you and they help you. We’ll be back!
