This was our favorite accommodations in all of Sri Lanka. We ended up staying 5 nights. The owner, Ruwan, is such a friendly guy and made all the effort to make us feel at home. During our first night the AC broke in our room and the next morning Ruwan allowed us to move to a different room without any problem. He also prepared a delicious breakfast for us every morning. The room itself was spacious and clean, the beds comfortable and the area very jungle-like. We even saw monkeys from our window several times (also woken up by them running on the roof).

This was by far our favorite hotel experience ever. We travel a lot and love to stay in special places and Three Gables was perfect from every point of view possible. We found this place through a friend who saw we were traveling through Sri Lanka and reached out to make sure we would stay here before we left: it’s that memorable of a place that our friend really wanted to make sure we stay here. He was so right! The location was stunning; the hotel is on the beach, and we could see sunrise and sunset and have beautiful walks. The room was perfect, it had all the comforts we could wish for. The food was the best we had in Sri Lanka by far and there was so much attention to detail. The best part of the hotel, and which made all the difference, was the impeccable service. If I could give this hotel 6 out of 5 stars in service, it would still be an understatement. Dinuka, our food & beverage manager, took excellent care of us and was always reachable. Suresh, the general manager, ensured we had a beautiful stay. Chef Nalaka, who created most of the fantastic food and was with whom we did a cooking class, was incredible. Chaturanga and the rest of the staff were always attentive and cared for us.

Apresentando uma piscina, um jardim, um restaurante e vista do rio, Sinharaja Vini Villa localiza-se em Deniyaya e fornece acomodações com acesso Wi-Fi gratuito. Localização espetacular, rodeados de natureza e com o rio a passar mesmo em frente à propriedade. Desde o terraço dos quartos pudemos apreciar a maravilhosa vista e alguma fauna como, por exemplo, diversos pássaros e até mesmo um lagarto monitor a passar no rio! Os quartos são bastante amplos e estavam impecavelmente limpos. Os terraços convidam a relaxar e estão equipados com cadeiras, mesa e rede para deitar. A propriedade dispõe de espaço para refeições que junta a fantástica vista à qualidade da comida confecionada no local e ao convívio com a simpática família. A comida é soberba! Todos os pratos que experimentámos estavam excelentes, sendo servidos em doses enormes! O caril era ótimo e foi servido com diversos acompanhamentos, os pratos de massa e arroz muito saborosos e o prato de mangostão que a família nos ofereceu também foi muito apreciado. Comemos ainda (sem sombra para dúvida) o melhor kottu roti dos nossos dias no Sri Lanka! Organizámos a visita ao parque nacional de Sinharaja com Vini, que foi também o nosso guia. O percurso fez-se a pé desde a propriedade, pois está localizada próximo da entrada do parque, e mesmo este caminho já é feito em plena natureza. Vini conseguia identificar animais onde, mesmo olhando durante vários segundos, apenas conseguíamos vislumbrar vegetação! O percurso não era difícil e tivemos a oportunidade de ver cobras, diferentes lagartos, grandes caracóis e um macaco branco, entre outros. Parámos ainda numa cascata onde pudemos tomar um banho. Foi de facto uma caminhada muito especial e rica e, no regresso, tínhamos o (abundante) almoço, preparado pela mulher de Vini, à nossa espera! Ajudaram-nos ainda com a organização do transporte, tanto na chegada como depois na partida. Vini e a sua mulher, as adoráveis filhas e família fizeram da nossa estadia um momento ainda mais especial. Sem dúvida, uma experiência única, seja pela beleza do local, pela deliciosa comida ou pela simpatia da família.

Com vista do mar, Villa Océane situa-se em Mirissa e possui um restaurante, um salão partilhado, snack-bar, jardim, piscina exterior aberta todo o ano e terraço. Villa Oceane is the accommodation that you didnt realise you needed. I really cant put into words how perfect this place is. Theres only 5 rooms, so you get alot of space to yourself to chill, watch the surfers, listen to the waves. It has a relaxed, warm and welcoming vibe. The view is beyond anything you will get anywhere else. And the team are extremely small, so they really do go over and above what is expected. We had a gorgeous breakfast every morning, before taking off on our scooter to explore Mirissa, which is about ten minutes away. That being said, the area of the villa has wonderful little cafes and beachside bar areas to hang out in. I cant wait to go back one day <3

Parrot Tree House encontra-se em Mirissa, a 8 minutos a pé de Praia Weligambay, e apresenta acomodações com um jardim, acesso Wi-Fi gratuito e serviço de quartos. Brilliant stay! New on the scene in Mirissa but lovely accommodation. The tree house is down a well sign posted, little ally way and almost feels like the locals cul-de-sac. The owner and his wife are lovely and want to do everything they can to make your stay a good one. The tree house has a balcony and the room is a good size and space. The shower is powerful and the place was spotless. They offer a breakfast which is included but also have a menu which you can have a paid for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We had a paid for breakfast one morning and there was so much food we took some to the beach for lunch. It’s in a brilliant location so you can walk to Secret Beach and Mirissa Beach and loads of bars and restaurants. Would 100% recommend.

I had the pleasure of staying at Thara in Villa in my recently visit in Sri Lanka. I was thoroughly impressed with the exceptional service I received. From the moment I stepped foot into the hotel, I was greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality from the staff. Their attentiveness and willingness to go above and beyond to ensure my comfort made my stay truly enjoyable. The hotel itself was a haven of nature lushed greenery and offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. The rooms were spacious, clean, and nicely decorated, providing a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. The food experience at the hotel was equally delightful. The diverse menu showcased the rich flavors of Sri Lankan cuisine, as well as international favorites.

Seashell Villa Weligama localiza-se em Pelena, a 30 km de Estádio Internacional de Cricket de Galle, e dispõe de varanda, jardim e acesso Wi-Fi gratuito. We stayed at the Seashell Villa for 7 nights and would have stayed even longer if it would have been possible. The Villa is very beautiful, it is brand new, has a huge garden and gives you a lot of privacy. Everything is also perfectly clean. Especially the bathroom is really special. It is partially without a roof, so you can feel like you are outside while taking a bath in the huge bathtub or take a shower. It’s really amazing. You can reach the river in 2 min walking time and the beach in 5 min. Mendis and his parents are very nice people, they help you with everything you need or ask them. You could not ask for a better stay in Weligama - I would highly recommend it. Thank you for a great time.

Em Mirissa, a 15 minutos a pé de Thalaramba Beach, 2,5 km de Praia Weligambay e 35 km de Estádio Internacional de Cricket de Galle, Villa Carla Mirissa dispõe de acomodações com um terraço e acesso... We loved everything about our stay at Villa Carla, it was unexpected because we didn’t realise we would be getting a whole villa in that price, great value for money. And the interior of the villa is lovely, has a minimal/rustic vibe that really adds to the comfort. It had every basic facility that you require like a whole kitchen, laundry room etc which was something we did not come across in any of the other accommodations we stayed at. Jack and Giorgia were lovely hosts, very helpful as well.

The accommodation is comfortable, clean, and well-equipped, with attentive hosts who ensure guests have everything they need. It's ideal for relaxing in peaceful surroundings or exploring the nearby beach. So I highly recommend Shady Homestay Hiriketiya to anyone in search of a quiet, coastal retreat. I’m already looking forward to my next visit ✌🏻
