If you are looking for a quiet homestay in the middle of nature very close to a river and two of the forest reserve entrances, please choose Vini Villa. Being a solo traveller, I really appreciated Vini's and his family's friendliness and hospitality. They will always make sure to cater to their guests' every needs. Food was plentiful and delicious. Vini, the owner, is also very knowledgeable about the forest and animals that live around his home village and will be happy to show you around the rain forest and its many wonders if you wish so. I really enjoyed my time at Vini Villa's for 10 days and the many hikes I went on in the forest and around the village. I wish I could have stayed longer. It was hard to say bye to Vini and his lovely family.

Villa Océane is set in Mirissa and features a pool with a view and sea views. This beachfront property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. The Staff is one of the best in the world. For get 7 star service, these guys are super helpful and do better than any hotel around the world.

Our stay at Saltasia was just perfection. The staff were so kind and welcoming. The food was incredible and they were extremely accommodating to vegan dietary requirements. The best Sri Lankan curry I had during my whole trip! Our room was stunning and really clean. Such a comfortable bed. The location right on the beach meant you could relax to the sound of the waves all day and we got to see Turtles near the shore in the evening. You are also only a few minutes walk from Coconut Hill. There is a tuk tuk driver next door who we were able to use easily to get around Mirissa. Wish we could have stayed for longer!

We stayed at the Seashell Villa for 7 nights and would have stayed even longer if it would have been possible. The Villa is very beautiful, it is brand new, has a huge garden and gives you a lot of privacy. Everything is also perfectly clean. Especially the bathroom is really special. It is partially without a roof, so you can feel like you are outside while taking a bath in the huge bathtub or take a shower. It’s really amazing. You can reach the river in 2 min walking time and the beach in 5 min. Mendis and his parents are very nice people, they help you with everything you need or ask them. You could not ask for a better stay in Weligama - I would highly recommend it. Thank you for a great time.

The location is convenient, close to local attractions and transportation. While the facilities are not highly luxurious, they are more than sufficient for a pleasant stay, offering good value for the price. Overall, I highly recommend Shady Homestay Hiriketiya to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay.

We recently had the pleasure of spending a night at the delightful villa Swallow Nest Homes in Dickwella, Sri Lanka, and it was an unforgettable experience for my family and me. Swallow Nest is beautifully designed with modern amenities. The spacious rooms were impeccably clean and tastefully decorated, providing a perfect blend of comfort and elegance. The outdoor area was a highlight of our stay. The kids had a blast playing in the garden, and the whole family appreciated the peaceful atmosphere. Swallow Nest's location was ideal for exploring the nearby beaches, which was the most adventurous part of our stay. In summary, our night at this villa was nothing short of magical. It’s a beautiful new Villa run by friendly family. Big space, lovely garden, delicious breakfast, good for working online. Location is absolutely perfect for exploring south beaches and cities such as Mirissa, Matara, Weligama, … There are many good restaurants in 15 min walk (Bob was our top pick). Supermarket is also super close (10 mins by walk). Madiha beach was our the most favourite beach and its very close to the Villa. Thank you for letting us stay.
