Featuring two outdoor pools, play area for children, garden and free WiFi, Villa Hundira offers rooms located 4.5 km away from Dutch Fort. Everything was perfect once we settled into the Lagoon Suite with views over the lagoon and expansive living area. Our host, Jay the resort manager was a terrific person who made sure everything went smoothly including a tour around the property where we met the owners Rolf and Indira and engaged in great conversation before being introduced to Thimble and meeting the craftswomen hard at work. The staff at the resort were wonderful and provided service second to none and really made us feel like family. The food was exceptional, so much so that we ended up eating all our meals from breakfast through dinner exclusively at the resort. The gin and tonics using local gin were terrific and the only regret is we completely forgot to try the local arrack despite promising to do so. Next time. There are various areas to have meals throughout the resort with the overall feeling of privacy coupled with openness. We typically ate breakfast facing the lagoon in the area below the room, and often dinner at tables closer to the pool - there was no shortage of choice depending on the mood and ambience needed. Food choices range from western to local, and all were true to expectations with the local cuisine being wonderfully authentic. On our final day we used the Spa for a 3 hour treatment followed up with local cuisines - what a wonderful experience and recommended as a 'must do' for anyone staying multiple days. As a memory of our stay we bought a wonderful wall tapestry designed and created by the artisans at Thimble and this will feature in a prominent position in our house in the future. Overall the most relaxing environment we stayed at in Sri Lanka for our final few days and we are already looking forward to returning. Recommendation for anyone interested is to stay at least 2 nights, slow down, relax, and enjoy the offerings.

Run by a local family, Villa Shade is a charming and peaceful property surrounded by green gardens, just 4 km from Negombo City. Beautiful garden with home grown fruits, the staff is out of his way to assist, the room is perfect and the swimming pool is an amazing treat! Great breakfast and very quiet, calm vibes. We wish we could stay longer.

Boasting air-conditioned accommodation with a patio, Sebastian Transit Villa with Free shuttle service to airport is set in Kotugoda. Big room and awesome shower. Great place to stay the day before we needed to catch a flight. The free shuttle to the airport made it a seamless experience and we really appreciated the convenience.

Featuring air-conditioned accommodation with a private pool, garden view and a terrace, Casa Winnie is set in Kelaniya. The owner is very decent and cooperative, he managed the property like a complete home. All the eminites were there with no extra cost like a stove, free coffee with milk water dispenser and tissue which were not found in any other property.it' was one of the best stays in Sri lanka

Situated in Ja-Ela, Summer House - Private villa close to International Airport BIA features accommodation with private pool, free WiFi and free private parking for guests who drive. I made the best choice in booking Summerhouse for a weekend stay with my wife and 5 month old son! The couple, villa owners, are very nice, friendly, pleasant, and were extremely accommodating, especially to make our stay more comfortable with the little one. It’s so close to Colombo, and really is a place to get away from city living. The villa was oozing with charm… it was clean and well equipped with everything to make a very private, comfortable and enjoyable stay. And since it’s located within a larger housing scheme, we also able to use the pool and clubhouse as well, which was quite neat and also safe. Overall we loved our weekend at Summerhouse! Would definitely recommend it to friends and family! ☺️

Very beautiful place, Daniyel is a super nice and supportive host. The beds are very comfortable, we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. We were happy that we chose this place as our last accommodation before flying home.

Offering garden views, 3M Poolside Villa is an accommodation located in Kandana, 14 km from R Premadasa Stadium and 16 km from Khan Clock Tower. The B'Fast was an English one since we ordered that with lots of fresh juices. It was a very tasty meal. Superb location too.

Featuring garden views, Tranquill Villa La Dimora offers accommodation with a garden and a balcony, around 8.2 km from R Premadasa Stadium. This was our first stop after a long flight. The beds were comfy and the Villa felt like home. The caretaker was wonderful and cooked a great breakfast for us in the morning. Tucked away from the main street meant it was quiet, which was nice. Great food options just a short walk away
