Run by a local family, Villa Shade is a charming and peaceful property surrounded by green gardens, just 4 km from Negombo City. Beautiful garden with home grown fruits, the staff is out of his way to assist, the room is perfect and the swimming pool is an amazing treat! Great breakfast and very quiet, calm vibes. We wish we could stay longer.

This place is amazing - cosy and spacious rooms, very clean, quiet, kind staff and great breakfast. The fact that they also pick you up from the airport makes it so easy when you fly to Colombo. I’d definetly go back :)

The location is good - close to the airport, in a closed private area under security. There is a shared pool. Delicious breakfast from the hosts. The premises are clean and well-kept. I definitely recommend Padmi’s villa!

The beds were comfy and the Villa felt like home. The caretaker was wonderful and cooked a great breakfast for us in the morning. Tucked away from the main street meant it was quiet, which was nice. Great food options just a short walk away
