A 3-minute walk to Night Market and Xieng Thong Temple, Villa Ban Lakkham offers modern air-conditioned rooms with river views from a private balcony. Guests enjoy free WiFi and free rental bicycles. We had breakfast on the deck right outside our room, we also had breakfast across the street overlooking the River. Old style furnishings that worked very well. The location is great, five minute walk to the downtown core,seven to the night market, yet very quiet at night.

We were also entertained several times a day by the elephants being fed and bathed by excited tourists! The landscape was simply magical from dawn to dusk, from the heavy morning mist to the star filled skies at night. The sense of peace and tranquility, unfortunately broken by Mr Pun blaring loud Lao music over 2 days of the New Year, and relaxed pace of life in Shangri-Lao will stay with us for a long time - until we return! We were very well looked after by Fong, her team plus all the guys in the resort - a big thank you!
