Villa Ban Lakkham is a 5-minute walk to Phu Si Mountain and National Museum. Luang Prabang Airport is a 15-minute drive away. We had breakfast on the deck right outside our room, we also had breakfast across the street overlooking the River. Old style furnishings that worked very well. The location is great, five minute walk to the downtown core,seven to the night market, yet very quiet at night.

The landscape was simply magical from dawn to dusk, from the heavy morning mist to the star filled skies at night. The sense of peace and tranquility, unfortunately broken by Mr Pun blaring loud Lao music over 2 days of the New Year, and relaxed pace of life in Shangri-Lao will stay with us for a long time - until we return! We were very well looked after by Fong, her team plus all the guys in the resort - a big thank you!
