Directly off the main street leading to Nara Park, and super close to JR Nara Station. Its facilities are super up to date, but you can feel the age of the house in a good way. We had also left an item accidentally after checkout and the host did his absolute best, including going out of his way to get it back to us. Overall awesome experience.

The property is non-smoking and is located 26 km from Nara Station. Everything. Perfect property. Very spacious. Modern appliances. Spotless clean. Traditional building with modern amenities. Quiet location with local amenities and tourist attractions readily accessible.

The house is located in the mountain with a limited access (only car) as it's on a toll road. Owners were extremely nice, sweet and helpful. They gave us a lot of tips and tricks for Nara (which we used) so we had even better experience. Very easy to communicate with owners, they text back very quickly and are very nice. The house is very well equipped, the fireplace is amazing, you can easily prepare a hotpot or grill some fish or steaks (owners have amazing equipment for both). The house is equipped with a traditional Japan style hottub which is a must try! The house was very nice and clean, enough space for everything, nice kitchen, living room and beautiful view. Bathroom was spacious and clean. Traditional bedrooms were very comfortable. We really enjoyed staying in this accommodation! Definitely worth it!

The property is culturally significant, boosting traditional Japanese living with a touch of western comforts. It’s set on an old street lined with traditional Japanese house a short stroll or bike ride into town. One of the most incredible aspects of our stay was our host, who was extremely tentative and welcomed us with open arms and shared some of the local eateries for some mouthwatering traditional Japanese cuisine. The villa is located on the ground floor and comes with 3 bedrooms, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels and a fully equipped kitchen that provides guests with a dishwasher, a microwave, a washing machine, a toaster and a fridge. The unit at the property features a bidet and a dressing room. The villa offers bed linen, towels and laundry service. Fabulous apartment. Modern, super clean and spacious. It was great to have three bedrooms, all having comfortable beds and a heat pump in each room. Very well equipped kitchen, including extra condiments which was much appreciated. Great shower and two toilets was a bonus. A few minutes walk from Nara station, which has a supermarket, restaurants and a chemist on the lower level. Only 5 minutes walk to the main tourist shopping street that leads up to Nara park. About 30 minutes walk to Nara Park. Being close to the railway line didn't bother any of us, we all slept very well. Would definitely stay there again.

Mr and Mrs Kuki were so incredibly kind as hosts - meeting us at the station, taking us on little tour of Nara and ensuring we understood everything within the house. The house itself was stunning - super clean, had everything we needed, comfy beds and the tatami room downstairs were perfect for relaxing. Having washer-dryer was hugely convenient too. Location perfect for walking everywhere in Nara - and they left so many ideas/suggestions/maps it was just a wonderful stay and we hope to return one day, thank you both so much!

The host is accommodating and even provides recommendations on food around the area. He speaks good English, so communication is easy. As we are unable to reserve a slot at the strawberry farm over the phone, he did so willingly despite being outstation in Tokyo. We had a good stay in this peaceful and lovely house.
