Easy self check in and the host was very communicable via chat, kept us updated on everything. The house is renovated inside. So although it looks old from the outside, it's very comfortable and modern inside. Lots of amenities inside. Wish we had more time to stay here as we arrived pretty late and left pretty early as we didn't get the chance to fully take advantage of everything.

Amazing location, literally right beside the Bárður Snæfellsás statue, and with a private walkway to the cliffs of Arnarstapi. Breath-taking views of the ocean and mountains from the house. The kitchen was very well stacked, and we especially enjoyed having a fireplace. The house was clean and was the perfect home base for exploring the Snæfellsnes Peninsula.

The setting is so peaceful and quiet. A great location for exploring the peninsula. It is well equipped with everything you need to prepare meals, and relax. It was our mid-week stop so being able to do some laundry was a bonus.

My family and I loved the design of the house - it was very cozy and made us feel right at home. The villa had a lot of great touches including a well stocked kitchen (various spices, coffee pods, etc.) and yoga mats. The rooms were small, but the beds were very comfortable. Although there is only one bathroom, it was spacious and very clean. The outside deck overlooking the ocean and the hot tub were amazing. We enjoyed sitting and relaxing in the hot tub while taking in the ocean and mountain views. I highly recommend taking an evening or morning walk on the beach! Our family really enjoyed this villa and we will keep it on our list for future Iceland trips!

Based on the location, the facilities and the view giving this property a 10/10 would really be understating it. I would give a 12/10 if I could. The pictures shared by the host don't do justice to the property and location at all.
