Easy self check in and the host was very communicable via chat, kept us updated on everything. The house is renovated inside. So although it looks old from the outside, it's very comfortable and modern inside. Lots of amenities inside. Wish we had more time to stay here as we arrived pretty late and left pretty early as we didn't get the chance to fully take advantage of everything.

We stayed for two days and wish we could have stayed longer. Amazing location, literally right beside the Bárður Snæfellsás statue, and with a private walkway to the cliffs of Arnarstapi. Breath-taking views of the ocean and mountains from the house. The kitchen was very well stacked, and we especially enjoyed having a fireplace. The house was clean and was the perfect home base for exploring the Snæfellsnes Peninsula.

It was such a nice, beautiful, modern and comfortable house. It accommodate all our needs. Perfect for large group and it is further away from city, so we could enjoy our stay without disturbing neighbours.

This house was perfect! The setting is so peaceful and quiet. A great location for exploring the peninsula. It is well equipped with everything you need to prepare meals, and relax. It was our mid-week stop so being able to do some laundry was a bonus.

Marbakki Luxury Ocean Retreat er staðsett í Budhir og býður upp á gistirými með heitum potti, sólstofu og baði undir berum himni. Marbakki was a very beautiful, secluded property. My family and I loved the design of the house - it was very cozy and made us feel right at home. The villa had a lot of great touches including a well stocked kitchen (various spices, coffee pods, etc.) and yoga mats. The rooms were small, but the beds were very comfortable. Although there is only one bathroom, it was spacious and very clean. The outside deck overlooking the ocean and the hot tub were amazing. We enjoyed sitting and relaxing in the hot tub while taking in the ocean and mountain views. I highly recommend taking an evening or morning walk on the beach! Our family really enjoyed this villa and we will keep it on our list for future Iceland trips!

Based on the location, the facilities and the view giving this property a 10/10 would really be understating it. I would give a 12/10 if I could. The pictures shared by the host don't do justice to the property and location at all.

Tanginn býður upp á grillaðstöðu og gistirými í Stykkishólmi. Gististaðurinn er með litla verslun og svæði þar sem hægt er að fara í lautarferð. Location was lovely. Quiet charming town with some excellent restaurants.

Glass House with Private River & 360° Views er staðsett á Arnarstapi. Gististaðurinn er með aðgang að verönd, ókeypis einkabílastæði og ókeypis WiFi. Einnig er hægt að sitja utandyra í orlofshúsinu. The location was amazing and the views were second to none. Super close proximity to the glacier and right on the coast line.
