Good directions to the accommodations, really beautiful place, wonderful experience and easy to reach off ring road.

The very comfortable home from home, accommodation. Plenty of space for four people to spread out and enjoy the view across the lake. The close proximity to the amazing geological sites was a real bonus. The laundry facilities were excellent and we made good use of them.

Very nice place in an amazing part of Iceland. The host was very friendly and came to see if everything is OK. The place is magnificent and the house is fully equipped (fridge, oven, washing machine... exactly what we needed at half of our journey). You can prepare your own supper / breakfast and eat on the patio or inside with a view on the lake. We did the Diamond Circle from here and the ash volcano across the road 😉 Don't worry about the small flies... they are harmless and all over the Myvatn region... nothing to do with this very place . All the facilities are great and very clean. The best for last, the hot tub. It's private, on the doorstep, with amazing view, where you can also see the northern lights from. No light pollution. It's available 24/7, what else can I say about it. Overall, it's probably the best place I've ever stayed anywhere. Would go back immediately.
