A recently renovated holiday home set in Reykjahlíð, Myvo The Studio apartment at Geiteyjarströnd 4 features a garden. Such a lovely cosy apartment with windows all round and overlooking Lake Myvatn. It was the perfect place to relax and hope to see the Northern Lights from the big balcony outside. The place was thoughtfully designed as open plan with nice touches such as candles and rugs. The underfloor heating was very efficient and plenty of kitchenware plus oven, stovetop, microwave, washing machine etc. We had looked at slightly cheaper options nearby but I think it was worth paying a little extra for this one. Would highly recommend!

We had a very nice cabin, nicely arranged. The host is very friendly and kindly gave us information on local places to visit. It was actually our third visit here. It is a quiet place and in a scenic setting.

Offering a barbecue and terrace, Silva Holiday Home is situated in Eyjafjarðarsveit in the North Iceland Region, 12 km from Akureyri. The accommodation features a hot tub. Loved our stay here and hosts were lovely. Super close to Akureyri and beautifully nestled in a valley with hills on 3 sides. A great place as a base camp to daytrip further north. We stayed here for 4 nights of a 12 day trip around the Ring Road. I would stay here again. Super spacious cabins for 2 people and the kitchens have every available gadget you would want – great for really cooking!
