Ormurinn Cottages is located in Egilsstadir. Free WiFi access is available throughout the property. We loved this cottage, it was a little heavenly home (while a snow storm was happening outside) and we felt warm, cosy & safe. Well equipped, and of course beautiful surroundings. The cottage was absolutely stunning and cozy, with all amenities a guest would need. The surrounding area was gorgeous and the hosts were extremely accommodating, even going as far as lending us duct tape to fix a pair of our boots.

Set along the Seydisfjordur Fjord, these cottages are less than 3 km from the town of Seydisfjorudur. Each offers impressive panoramic views and a large terrace with an outdoor hot tub and BBQ. This place was incredible. Everything from the jaw dropping views to the small details, like robes in each room, was over the top. You can tell the owners have put their love into what they do. Best place we’ve stayed in Iceland.

Our overall experience was fantastic! The house was really clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed. The host was very kind and welcoming, making sure our stay was smooth. The location was great, close to everything we wanted to explore. We would definitely stay here again!

These holiday homes all offer a private terrace with barbecue facilities, in addition to a well-equipped kitchenette with free coffee and tea. Egilsstadir town centre is a 8-minute drive away. Very homey and well maintained. We had a great time, the place is very cozy and next to nature

We can't say enough about the cottage. We stayed for 4 nights, but would love to have stayed longer. It was so peaceful and quiet with a stunning view. The cabin itself was spacious compared to the many other cabins we have stayed in, and it was meticulously clean. The kitchen had everything we needed, including a grill that was easy to use. The beds were comfortable, and the bedroom had blackout shades, which are important during the summer months. Our host was very communicative and helpful. We'd absolutely stay here again.
