Sólbrekka Holiday Homes is located in Mjóifjörður, a remoted fjord in east Iceland. Free WiFi access is available in this holiday home. The location is spectacular in a remote village - although it's a bit far to drive from Egilsstadir, Seydisfjordur, and Neskaupstadur, getting to Mjoifjordur and coming in and out of the valley was one of our favorite places in Iceland. The cottage was one of the most reasonably priced places we stayed and was well equipped. It was great to have our own hot tub. The kids loved the loft and playing fetch with the owner's dog.

Set along the Seydisfjordur Fjord, these cottages are less than 3 km from the town of Seydisfjorudur. Each offers impressive panoramic views and a large terrace with an outdoor hot tub and BBQ. Good location, nice view. Hot tub bath.

We can't say enough about the cottage. We stayed for 4 nights, but would love to have stayed longer. It was so peaceful and quiet with a stunning view. The cabin itself was spacious compared to the many other cabins we have stayed in, and it was meticulously clean. The kitchen had everything we needed, including a grill that was easy to use. The beds were comfortable, and the bedroom had blackout shades, which are important during the summer months. Our host was very communicative and helpful. We'd absolutely stay here again.

Offering a garden and mountain view, Við-Bót Riverside Cottage is situated in Egilsstadir, 43 km from Hengifoss and 32 km from Gufufoss. A very nice and spacious cottage just on the ring road. Large kitchen with a dishwasher, but no oven (it would be nice to change the picture). There is also a terrace with a magnificent view! The owner provided very detailed information how to find the house and a code to get in. All in all, we felt very comfortable and welcome and would be happy to return some day:)
