Grandads Shack, a property with a garden, is set in Pontypool, 38 km from Motorpoint Arena Cardiff, 38 km from Cardiff University, as well as 38 km from Cardiff Castle. Grandads shack is a very comfortable, spacious caravan with everything you need. It's very peaceful location and the views of the surrounding hills are lovely. We stayed for a few days with our children to visit friends in Newport. We all enjoyed the nearby Pontypool Park, massive park with lots to explore.

Poplars Cottage, a property with a garden, is located in Usk, 45 km from Motorpoint Arena Cardiff, 45 km from Cardiff University, as well as 45 km from Cardiff Castle. Great location, amazing facilities and very comfy! Host was responsive and helpful before arrival. We arrived ~2hrs early and were told that the place was all ready for us and that we could go in - which was much appreciated. Not much signal at the property but that wasn't an issue for us. Nice wood burner in main room but could have done with some smaller kindling/matches/firelighters to get it going.
