What a lovely place to stay! The service was exceptional, the hostess was amazing, nothing was too much trouble! We were provided with fresh bread and milk on arrival, the kitchen was fully stocked with tea/coffee etc and even had an iPhone charger there (which was a god send as we had forgotten our own)!. We were given information about the area on arrival including good places to eat (the Italian restaurant round the corner was fabulous). We will definitely be back again, fabulous little place!

The house was beautiful, clean, spacious! The beds were comfy with warm thick quilts and there was a beautiful Christmas tree all Lit up when we got there.

We returned to the property already for the second time and plan to do so again in the future. The location is fantastic, on a quiet street with ample parking, calm and tranquilly in a historic hamlet, and a nice bar and restaurant for breakfast, dinner, and lunch are only over the street. The host is an excellent host, who is both friendly and helpful. The apartment is very nice, and everything you need is available and in excellent condition. This is a highly recommended property.

Rhubarb Retreat - Stylish House, Sleeps 5, 10 mins to Durham City & Parking & Garden asub Gilesgates, Beamishi muuseumist 20 km kaugusel. Location was perfect for walking into the centre even through the snow! Nice size for the 4 of us and wished we could have made more use of the facilities. There were problems with the boiler and electricity but hosts were excellent with their responses.
