Château l'Escale is a very charming place to stay, situated in a calm and well-kept private park. It is located on a hill some 30 mins by bike off the bike route "la Loire a Vélo". It is a tastefully renovated manor house with a heated pool in a covered greenhouse. We were staying there with our kids and had two beautiful rooms with a separate bathroom and a private balcony. All rooms are very clean and nicely renovated. Breakfast is lovely and make sure you ask for the home-made dinner, should you travel by bike (as there are no restaurants nearby). It is also possible to prepare a meal in the guest kitchen. We could leave our bikes in a secured shelter on the premises. The landlord is very nice and helpful and did everything to make our stay an unforgettable experience - thank you so much for your hospitality!
Fontaines
La maison neuve ligger i Fontaines, 49 km från La Rochelles järnvägsstation, och erbjuder boende med en trädgård, gratis WiFi och en 24-timmarsreception. From Arrival we were greeted by a smiling gentleman and two friendly dogs. These Hosts could run a master class on how it should be done. Apart from the delightful little house, which has been put together with great care and attention to detail, there is the unexpected of finding all the added comforts. Fresh bread, and little local biscuits are on the table, in the fridge, all you would need to breakfast well. We sat outside with a glass of wine, as the sun went down, we could see for miles across the flat landscape. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would like to return. if you are thinking of booking this accommodation do it, I am sure you wont be dissappointed.

ATELIER 85 har utsikt över staden och erbjuder boende med en terrass och en balkong, 28 km från Art and History Museum. Great location to visit Le Puy du Fou. Very modern amenities, comfy bed, large enough to accommodate 2 adults and 2 children. Bakery only 10 min walk away.
La Gaubretière
Gîte Le Panache ligger i La Gaubretière. Här bor du 48 km från Nantes. Huset har en terrass. Du kan också koppla av i trädgården. Cholet ligger 19 km från Gîte Le Panache. Very close, about 10-15 minute drive, to Puy du Fou. The apartment was very clean and had all required facilities.
