Situated just 47 km from Cholet textile museum, Chateau L' Escale features accommodation in Saint-Herblon with access to an indoor pool, massage services, as well as luggage storage space. Château l'Escale is a very charming place to stay, situated in a calm and well-kept private park. It is located on a hill some 30 mins by bike off the bike route "la Loire a Vélo". It is a tastefully renovated manor house with a heated pool in a covered greenhouse. We were staying there with our kids and had two beautiful rooms with a separate bathroom and a private balcony. All rooms are very clean and nicely renovated. Breakfast is lovely and make sure you ask for the home-made dinner, should you travel by bike (as there are no restaurants nearby). It is also possible to prepare a meal in the guest kitchen. We could leave our bikes in a secured shelter on the premises. The landlord is very nice and helpful and did everything to make our stay an unforgettable experience - thank you so much for your hospitality!

Offering a garden and inner courtyard view, La maison neuve is set in Fontaines, 49 km from La Rochelle Train Station and 40 km from Niort Train Station. From Arrival we were greeted by a smiling gentleman and two friendly dogs. These Hosts could run a master class on how it should be done. Apart from the delightful little house, which has been put together with great care and attention to detail, there is the unexpected of finding all the added comforts. Fresh bread, and little local biscuits are on the table, in the fridge, all you would need to breakfast well. We sat outside with a glass of wine, as the sun went down, we could see for miles across the flat landscape. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would like to return. if you are thinking of booking this accommodation do it, I am sure you wont be dissappointed.

Set in Les Épesses, 3.9 km from Puy du Fou Theme Park and 28 km from Art and History Museum, ATELIER 85 offers a garden and air conditioning. Great location to visit Le Puy du Fou. Very modern amenities, comfy bed, large enough to accommodate 2 adults and 2 children. Bakery only 10 min walk away.

Les Gîtes de la Frérie are located in La Gaubretière. The accommodation is 48 km from Nantes. The holiday home offers a terrace. Guests can also relax in the garden. Very close, about 10-15 minute drive, to Puy du Fou. The apartment was very clean and had all required facilities.

Featuring pool views, La Grange Gites provides accommodation with patio, around 28 km from Halle au Blé. I did not have breakfast the location looks to be very good but difficult to say when having a one night stop over.

La Résidence des 53 has garden views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in La Roche-sur-Yon, 7 km from Vendespace. Thé place was modern and clean and people flexible and understanding. Thanks a lot
