It’s spacious, clean and well-equipped, close to the beach and pools and a short taxi ride (or walk, though it’s a bit of a bumpy ride with a stroller) from Santa Maria. The host (JC) was extremely helpful with offering guidance and general assistance if we needed something, and it’s clear that he cares a lot for the villa and keeps it in good condition. The villa area in the resort was not crowded, so all in all a perfect alternative to the bit more chaotic and bustling all-inclusive experience.

We opted to stay self catering; Andrew was very helpful with the location of the best supermarket where we stocked up on everything we needed for the villa; and he also gave us some great restaurant recommendations in Santa Maria. The hotel didn’t seem that busy even though it was Easter school holidays, though we didn’t eat in any of the hotel restaurants as there were so many great ones in Santa Maria. Taxis into Santa Maria were easily arranged when we didn’t want to make the 45 minute walk there.

I can tell it’s English owned and loved the Cornwall feel to it, the surfboard, the crockery, the kettle was great, I even did laundry there. the security of a 5 star resort but private villas. loved it! will be back!
