What an exceptional place to stay if you want to visit Santa Teresa. ST is a great place. So much energy and amazing beaches and superb restaurants. Prepare yourself for dust and chaos in the town. But then when you have had enough make your way up to the Green House and all is well. The building is beautiful with exceptional architecture and built with beautiful materials by very good builders. Incredible rainforest views and the sun fills the balcony. We just sat in the lovely plunge pool and watched the sun go down. It's well equipped, very comfortable and very well located. We loved our three days there. Oh and the ladies that met us and helped us with recommendations etc couldn't have been more helpful.

Boasting pool with a view and views of mountain, Villas en el Bosque is a recently renovated villa situated in Ojochal, 1.2 km from Tortuga. I liked every bit of the lodge, from the kindness of the staff to the view from the deck and our room (number 5), the sightings of parrots, monkeys and kinkajous (at night) as well as the frogs, the arboreal crabs and so on. The food was perfect and the place is close to the major beaches and attractions of the area (you need a car of course). And of course, we loved to pet the cute home dog Lafayette and the cats!

Excellent beds, excellent bathrooms. Lovely mezzanine on top of one of the bedrooms to relax. Great heated pool with beautiful lighting to see the surrounding trees at night, really great atmosphere. Good location not far from the town center, very quiet place.
