I loved having my own kitchen space and fridge and the private balcony was ideal for eating meals. the location is so peaceful, lots of birdsong in the morning (which is way more restful than the cockerals). its about a 30 minute walk from town but the walk is beautiful along the coast and pass the sunset moais (10 minute stroll or 5 mins to the solitary moai at the end of the road which you'll have all to yourself at sunset). other hotels in this price bracket are also a 30/40 minute walk but along streets so this location is a winner for me. the host (no english) but so friendly and helpful, always kept free drinking water, napkins and toilet paper stocked up. he even took me on a tour of his veg garden and introduced me to the mini melon. the place is peaceful, host friendly and accommodating, pickup to/from the airort included. I loved my stay here.

Set in Hanga Roa, Cabañas Moai is 200 metres from Hanga Roa Anthropological Museum. Tahai is 500 metres from the property. Free private parking is available on site. Spacious cabana with ocean view, walking distant to town, right next to Tahai sunset. Owner was extremely helpful and kind. I'll go back for sure!

Great lodging, super friendly host. The bed was comfortable, and the kitchen had anything you could need. Got picked up from the airport and given a quick tour around town, which was very appreciated. Definitely recommend it!

The property is as described, the location is right on the beach in the center with restaurants, shops, and points of interest just a few steps away, but the real selling point is the personal touch in every aspect of our stay, and the fact that we got the full package, lodging and guide services, in one. The whole family was very kind, helpful, flexible, and welcoming. They picked up/dropped off at the airport, helped us with information around town. We hired Kevin as our guide for the parks, and we had the most wonderful and memorable experience with his help. He is very knowledgeable, but beyond that, he cares a lot about providing a personalized experience for his guests. We felt very well taken care of and learned much more than just the facts. He is truly a remarkable young man. We highly recommend the place and his guiding services.

The home, the hosts, and their supportive attitude were amazing. Eugenia picked us up from the airport, helped us rent a car at a great price (a Suzuki automatic for $110 for 3 days), assisted in finding a guide for excursions, and even allowed us to stay longer since we had evening flight. The accommodation is a 120-square-meter house with its own garden, making it very comfortable for the four of us. It has all the facilities you need for a village trip. It’s a very safe place and even has security cameras. It was clean and featured delightful details like posters of authentic Rapa Nui wood items and a map of the Rapa Nui landscape.
